Harbor is a small-batch studio. Every colourway is cut in a run of one hundred and twenty pieces; when it sells out, it is retired for good. No restocks, no landfill-seasonal collections, no forced obsolescence.
The same discipline applies to the storefront. A typical growing Shopify store loads 25 to 35 third-party scripts per page — review widgets, size guides, loyalty programs, upsells, pixels — and every byte is a kilowatt-hour of data centre and network energy, multiplied by every visitor, every visit.
This store renders pure static HTML and CSS at the Cloudflare edge with a single 3 KB cart island. No render-blocking scripts, no hydration, no trackers on the critical path — roughly 90% less energy per visit than the legacy themes our competitors run.
